Each year my photography group has a self portrait challenge. For this year, I wanted to highlight some of my marching arts photography work and thought it would be fun to make up a story to go with it. Here's the story.

Sony contacted me about doing an ad for their 300mm f/2.8 GMaster lens after hearing about my exhibit at DFW a few weeks ago. I was suprised to find out that I had to create the ad myself. I figured they'd have graphics artists to do that work. They wanted me to use one of my photos taken with the lens and include a picture of myself holding the lens along with a quote. I wasn't sure what to say, so I uploaded four photos to ChatGPT and it provided me with a quote for each one. I put together three other ads to send to Sony. This one was my favorite.
