This was created for a weekly challenge topic called Starts with G - "All that Glitters is Gold" and Guitar both worked to meet the theme but it took a bit of work to pull it off. Old Bridge High School started their show with this guitarist on top of some stairs and walking down while playing Stairway to Heaven. The guitar, gold costuming and general look was just what I needed. The problem is I couldn't get a clean shot of him on the stairs due to other performers in the way, so I had to settle for him on the ground. The whole show the full view of the stairs was always blocked from my location. But I really wanted stairs, so I remembered another school had stairs last year, so I found a photo from them, cloned out the person who was on them and replaced with this guitarist. Those stairs were white so I blended a solid gold layer to color the stairs, brushed on some clouds and pulled in some recently purchased graphics to complete the look.
